ALL PILOTS MUST BE AMA MEMBERS.  This is an AMA-sanctioned event--Membership cards will be checked.  Non-US pilots may sign up as an AMA Affiliate Member for $28 at registration.

Be sure to indicate your first and 2nd 72 MHz frequency choices (if not using 2.4 GHz) before Sept 1, 2014.
72 MHz frequencies will be assigned as first come, first served basis.  Register early with the information requested above and any fees, to help assure your preferred frequency assignment. Club owned height limiter devices and technical advise will be provided for those who need it.

CONTEST SCHEDULE:
Friday will be registration and optional test flying day starting around 9AM.  A Frequency board will be available and must be used.  Saturday Registration/Check in time is 7:30 AM.  Pilots’ meeting is at 8:00 AM.  First group will fly at 8:30 AM.  Flying will be in groups of not more than 12 pilots.  We will stop flying as near to 5:00 PM as possible.  If we can complete 6 rounds, we can have a throw-out round.  Sunday will be with a 10-minute max working time.  Pilots’ meeting 8:00 AM.  First group will fly at 8:30 AM. We will stop flying as near 12:00 noon as possible.

FLYING and SCORING:      

  • Altitude limiter chips will be provided.  These will limit motor run to 200 meters or 30 seconds.
  • Launch and landing directions will be announced before the start of task time for each group.
  • It is the responsibility of each pilot to fly his model in a safe manner.  A ‘no-fly zone’ will be enforced.
  • You or your helper may retrieve your model at any time as long as you are not putting yourself in danger or impeding someone else’s landing
  • If a model hits any person at any time during the flight or landing, incl. the pilot or helpers, a zero score will result for that flight.
  • Dangerous flying, in the opinion of the contest director will result in a loss of points or disqualification.  Your helper should make sure that your intended landing zone is clear of people before you land. 
  • The CD will announce additional rules/restrictions as field conditions may warrant. 

Additional Note:  The site is a working farm.  No driving or parking on the grass.  Avoid tool or equipment loss in the fields.
